Learn About Shark Attacks

PROJECT OVERVIEW
A group data visualization project grounded in the principle of visual encoding—the most effective visualizations match their visual channel to their data type, using position and length for quantitative comparisons, color for categorical distinctions, and area for proportional relationships, among others. Using a real-world raw dataset on global shark attacks sourced online, I applied these principles deliberately to select chart forms that would let each variable communicate as clearly and as honestly as possible in Tableau.
